USS Missouri BB 63 Tamiya 1/350 Scale

Posted by Paul O'Reilly under: Nautical Projects .

Here is my Missouri project.  It took me the better part of a year to complete but it was a most enjoyable project.  Most of my efforts were taken up with the reference materials - or rather the confirmation of references as some would contradict another.  The camouflage scheme was time intensive as well since the pattern had to be carried onto adjoining equipment and bulkheads (read lots of tape)!  Here are some of the photos I’ve just taken with my recently cleaned camera.  My earlier photos showed spots which turned out to be dirt inside the camera body.  72 buck later the problem was solved.
